COFFEE STORY.

This is our 10th year to carry coffees from the San Ignacio area. Caravela has done incredible things with these producers, working in conjunction with cooperatives in the region to open 2 receiving warehouses in the north and the south of the area to make grading and sorting lots incredibly efficient and give immediate feedback to producers. We think this is a great contrast to the Ukuku we are carrying. While the Ukuku is very fruit forward due to very aggressive fermentation, the Araguaney is more balanced around cocoa and some light citrus notes. We get loads of chocolate out of this year's lot, with complementary dried fruit and citrus, and a big sweet toffee aftertaste- the structure of this coffee will be incredible as espresso.
