Farms of Atitlan

This is our 7th year buying coffees from the southern edge of Lake Atitlan. The group we worked with previously, TINAMIT Toliman, had some restructuring in their leadership during harvest last year and did not produce coffee as a group. This lot includes coffee from the producers of Toliman that were still active this year, as well as 30 additional producers in the immediate area between Volcan Toliman and Volcan Atitlan. This coffee is processed at the lake under the guidance of our partners at Los Volcanes Coffees. We love the texture of Atitlan coffees- we find they have the sweetness of the older typica and bourbon varieties, with a bit of fruit and tons of caramel and butterscotch.
