We have been purchasing this coffee from southern Colombia since 2017, and our importing partners at Caravela have been working with producers in the area since 2012. Narino is one of the highest and driest coffee growing regions in the world, so Buesaco is in an area with incredibly high elevation, a very dry climate, and mineral rich soil. This extra stress leads to a very bright and pleasantly tart coffee, with a coating caramel body and very sweet finish. We think this profile is very refreshing and unique among the coffees we carry.
