Muthuthuini AA

This is our third Kenya top lot of 2025- we booked 3, and we believe we saved the best for last. This coffee comes from the Muthuthuini Factory, belonging to the Ruthaka Famers Cooperative Society, in Gathuitu, Nyeri, Kenya. The cooperative has 7,000 members, with 1,000 producers delivering to Muthuthuini. These are very small farms, and producers typically have less than an acre of coffee planted alongside other crops they consumer or sell. “AA” refers to the screen size of the coffee, in this case screen size 17-18, which is the largest coffee and typically the densest coffee. This coffee has loads of dried fruit, a bit of tart rhubarb, with a hint of coconut in a rich, creamy body. We love it!
