Sierra Mazateca.

This is our 6th year to carry coffees from the Sierra Mazateca mountain range in Oaxaca, Mexico. We wanted to start buying more coffee from Mazateca in 2019 and between the starting place being much harder than expected and COVID, it has been a long process. Our partners at Caravela have done incredible work implementing modern farm management techniques, planting new trees, and pushing toward quality production has truly started to show progress. They opened a new mill in Oaxaca this fall that will be used the first time for the 24/25 harvest. This year’s lot is full of a big fudgy chocolate, balanced by citrus and cherry.
